I have been recording and mixing music since 2009 in different studios, home setups, and collaborations with other recording engineers. My current studio is in my home in the Buckman Neighborhood of Portland, OR. My gear and microphones are 100% portable so it is possible to record remotely or in your own space as well. I work primarily in Protools but I can work with stems or source files from any DAW. From 2013 - 2015, I interned and recorded independent projects at River City Studios in Grand Rapids, MI and Big Sky Recording in Ann Arbor, MI. My home studio was not built with an inheritance or trust fund so I am adding and upgrading gear as I can afford it.

The Space

My “Studio” is my home. I have a dedicated, acoustically treated room for tracking. My primary mixing and monitoring room (my living room) is spacious and cozy and can accommodate the whole band.

RATES

My standard hourly rate is $50 but we can work out a project rate that works for your budget as well. There are a lot of variables when estimating a project rate including the number of instruments, amount of edits, quality of artist supplied recordings, number of revisions, etc. Ultimately, I’d rather you have a recording you’re happy with than worry about going over your time or budget.
